Lismore Luminations Aurora Candle

The northern lights, or the aurora borealis, are beautiful dancing waves of light that have captivated people for millennia. We are so fortunate on the island to have very little light pollution so are rewarded with wonderful clear skies to see the wonders of the stars and rewarded every now and then with the dancing waves of light from Aurora. 

To capture this magnificent sight in fragrance I have used top notes of bergamot, grapefruit and cassis. It is followed by floral notes of orris, jasmine, orange blossom and lily. It rests on an edible background with vanilla, tonka bean, praline, patchouli, cedarwood, musk and ambergris.

Hand poured candles from the Isle of Lismore
